Martti Raito BIO

In addition to his Formal education at University of Saskatchewan and as a graduate of Transport Canada's Airport Management Program Martti has 36 years of deep experience in the North American, Asia Pacific & Middle East aviation sectors. Martti’s expertise brings an acute understanding of overall airport operations, government regulations, airport project management & international security requirements. Mr. Raito spent many years with Transport Canada cultivating his management skills and aviation education that have clearly become a distinct advantage in the private sector .

Martti was born in Helsinki, Finland but currently resides in Winnipeg., Canada. For the last four years he has been instrumental in introducing CAPA to North America and beyond as their North America Regional Director.

David Bentley BIO

David is a graduate of the Department of Air Transport at the UK’s Cranfield University (MSc Air Transport  Management) and has been an air transport consultant and writer since 1999. He specialises in airport marketing and financing, having helped produce several  airport route development prospectuses for regional airports, and having written six management reports on airport privatisation since 2000. Collectively, his management reports have been subscribed to in over 100 countries on all continents. He is also a frequent media commentator, having worked with the BBC, CNN, New York Times/International Herald Tribune and Reuters amongst others, and has contributed articles to over 20 newspapers and magazines as well as being the airlines correspondent for the prestigious Airfinance Annual. He is Consulting Editor of Airport Investor Monthly, published by Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation. Previously he worked in a marketing capacity for three airlines (British Airways, Austrian Airlines and Icelandair); as a partner in a commercial and leisure travel agency; and as Travel Manager for a multinational corporation.
